Is Pica Pica Booth free? Do I need an account?

Taking photos, customizing your photo strip and downloading the PNG are free. No account or app installation is required.

When does the camera turn on?

Only after you click Enable camera and allow the browser permission. Opening the website does not automatically request camera access.

Can I use it on my phone?

Use a camera-enabled phone or computer with a current browser. Camera and device-sharing support vary by browser. Use your main browser rather than an in-app browser when possible.

Can I retake one photo?

Yes. Choose that photo on the preview screen. The other photos, layout, background color and frame are kept.

Are my photos uploaded?

Capturing, editing and downloading do not upload photos to our image service. Opening share options does not upload either. Only confirming Upload photo & create link uploads the selected result. Anyone with that link can view or download it. The site also uses analytics and advertising services; see the privacy policy.

What do I download?

A PNG photo strip with the branding shown in the preview. Image detail depends on your camera and selected layout.

Why is my camera not working?

Click Enable camera, check the site's camera permission in your browser settings, close other apps using the camera and try again.
